Do you want to the Internet to change much?

Personally, I like the Internet very much as it is right now. Nice and free, easy to make your own website. Forums are easy to access, we can make accounts on websites with sharing no real personally information etc etc. You can't do whatever you want, but the average, law abiding citizen can do what they please (excluding China and North Korea etc)

Do you think the internet should be more controlled? Should we be forced to use a personal identification process to use the internet? All in the name of protecting children from "harmful content" or to stop crime?

Or do you think we should rally for total freedom and uncensor everything online?

I like the internet as is very much too. It is still the wild west literally speaking, albeit moving towards more civilized and controled.
There are some privacy oriented issued for everyday users that is to easy to take advantage off, and i like that very much to be honest, but thats just from my point of view, which surely doesent add with the general opinion. I believe that it will change over time tho, and attacks will have to become more and more complex to take effect, as it should be. At the point of time we are in now there is still so many unknown 0 days out there, and so many outdated machines that anything is still possible.

I think anonymity will be harder and harder day by day. For example. Brave browser and noscript had a vuln that allowed the execution of javascript even tho safest setting was applied (this counted for tor browser aswell btw). Obviusly it was fixed rapidly when brought to notice, but whos to say that no more of such vulns exist.

We should be more oriented about privacy if we want to protect our own interests as a whole.
The internet is becoming more and more controlled each day. We should go back to complete freedom. Letting people do what they want.

Agreed. I really wish there don't come a day where our lives are controlled by the government managed net.

This. Internet is turning into shit because of people that support taking away our freedoms. I blame identity politics, PC culture, and modern "liberals" (which are fake ass liberals) tbh.

Liberals: people who praise power that have none

This is controversial. I agree that the internet is becoming more and more controlled, and that's bad. But the should be a balance. You can't let anyone do what they want. It's not they way things should work. If you let people do whatever they want in a society, prepare for chaos.

The internet sucks ass now and anyone who thinks that it's currently "good" never experienced what it was like in the past. The biggest thing you can immediately look to is fucking google. I remember google used to catalogue EVERYTHING, nothing was removed from my searches. Now? It's fucking TERRIBLE, and they are definitely censoring searches and limiting search results, or at the least they no longer care to index half the shit the used to. I remember being able to use google-fu to find anything I fucking wanted, now it's junked up and shitty.
Net Neutrality is one of our biggest rights we need to keep. We need the internet to be open to anyone and everyone and not censor it.
Shouldn't be more controlled. It should get better security and stuff, though.
it was better before. I agree with the users above, we need complete freedom on the Internet

This exactly if the internet becomes some censored source of information who can we trust?
The internet is great as it is, however if it was to become more censored - us with good computer/networking knowledge would be gods of the new age, i assure you we would find ways around it, the internet has put power in the hands of the people, it's our last stand. The freedom of the internet is, in my opinion one of the fundamentals that is stopping us from becoming truly expendable like cattle.
