Policy Question

Promoting Service in the Market with a Giveaway?

Are there any policies in place restricting thread promotion through means of giveaway?

IE:

1) Hosting a giveaway on the thread itself requiring a "reply to enter" OR "wear this signature"?
2) Hosting a giveaway in the giveaways section requiring a "reply to main thread to enter" OR "reply to giveaway thread to enter" OR "wear this signature"?

Probably a few other situations, but you get the idea.

Thanks!
1) Probably allowed as lots of people have had sig-based giveaways.
2) You cannot use the giveaway to farm posts on another marketplace topic though as that seems a bit manipulative (towards the anti-LQ bumping policy)

Replying to the giveaway thread seems alright, you can use the post# as their entry# while generating the winner as well. (disallowing multiple posts, or allowing it as you feel like)

Any idea on hosting the giveaway on the actual sales thread + requiring a reply on the actual sales thread?

Thanks a ton! 🎉

Pretty sure that isn't allowed as it's a clear pay4bump scenario
