So I work for a company that specializes in Traffic Safety. We setup work zones following state guidelines for contractors to setup shop and work in. We flag said workzones when necessary with a stop/slow paddle or a red flag. We have a sign shop guy who prints and builds our signs. We setup detours, lane closures, lane shifts, road closures. Etc..

I work for a chemical engineering firm. Not with chemicals nor engineering.

I work for a Hospital. Not with people, with the janitorial equipment.

I nearly ran over some workers on a poorly marked construction area of a road at like 2 AM. They were pissed.

Wasn't me. Sounds like they needed to make themselves more visible. I passed a workzone this morning around 5AM that was lit up like a Christmas Tree. Really hard to miss everything that was going on.

Seems like a good ol' mix. I too did some Uber Eats and Deliveroo deliveries when I was studying for my degree, can be some good money in it and its easy and quite fun if you like driving.

What does the HF community do for work?

I'm interested to see if there is particular trend among us, I would think most of us would work in tech/IT.

I am a Data Analyst and soon to be a BI Analyst. I create SQL Server Reporting Services reports and Power BI dashboards. I also produce data extracts from a SQL Server database and create database objects.

That's an interesting question. It does seem like a lot of folks in the HF community are tech-savvy. As for me, I'm into coding and programming, just trying to improve my skills and I work as full stack web dev. What about you all? What do you do for work?

[Pancake Boat]

I'm an account manager.
