Feels like every update just makes apps slower or bloated for no reason.
Even basic apps now use way more RAM than they should. I’ve been messing around with lightweight setups (even tried Gentoo for a bit just to see how lean I could go), and the difference is kinda crazy.
Are devs just not optimizing anymore or is it just modern hardware making people lazy?
