I'm not seeing how this would work, or would be of use. Maybe I'm missing something, but it sounds like you're just scanning for the ip and mac of other computers that are on the same network as you, and if that's the case, if they have internet, you should already have internet as well.

This seems like it would only work if the router is has mac filtering setup, and the mac address of your computer is not listed as a valid mac, and you're just cloning the mac of a computer already on the network to gain access, but that would suck because you'll have mac collisions which will cause frequent disconnects for both you and the computer whose mac you cloned.

Again, maybe I'm just missing some key information from your post

Forgive me for mis-understanding, but surely this only works if someone on your network has a different provider? An ISP would cut your connection by not allowing an connections from your external IP (ie. that of the router going to the data center) which means that all computers under that router would not have access to your ISP - therefore at least one computer (the connection you intend to hijack) must be with a different ISP where the IP is not blocked.

A pretty nifty idea though :)
