ok so i dnt know if anyone knows of this but rootthisbox.org requires you to use PuTTY? i know how to use it but only for that site....so what could i use it for other than going into rootthisbox.org and (idk if its hacking) hacking the boxes they have setup for you??😖😖

If you mean PuTTY Portable, it's telnet.

if you go down its just PuTTY and if you click ftp it lets you open it with out savinfg it to your computer but like it gives u different connection options like
raw
telnet
rlogin
ssh
& serial

what are these used for like i can actually hack things with this or no?
