Well yea, you can make Anti-Virus in Visual Basic. If you need src code or anyone else, feel free to PM me. 😉
It's possible, you can create almost anything in vb since allows you access to the win32 API.
It will probably be more hassle than it's worth. It would probably be best to create a firewall or something, much better and less managment.
You can create an antivirus.But with your posts and low skill you can't and nobody will give you source for it for free, plus you would need to understeand the source wich I doubt you can.Sorry for being harsh but thats the truth.

First of all I will tell them or the dude who gave you the code, second they are not stupid, third you would be hyper like :"Yay yay I coded an anti-virus lets go off and show it to my friends".One of them might be smart enough to look it up and tell microsoft.And well lets just say it is really hard to code it and you won't make it, neither will anyone...

That means you must first learn to understeand the code and start with basic projects, when you learn that coding an anti-virus will be boring/lame for you.

Thats only if the code is copy righted. If it isnt then the maker of the anti-virus can go get a copy right and sue the leech that he got it from to get money. Yeah life sucks

Well if he wants his anti-virus to be good,famous and detect viruses, then he will go ask for help from Microsoft or go to Microsoft and leech.Yes there is vb.net Microsoft site with a lot of pro coders....But they are white hat only.And it is very hard, you would have to update the database every now and then.Since new viruses are created every day.And if you sell it you would need to make an licence with a strong encryption.

Well to be honest if you were to make one i'd keep it for personal use and not to distribute a virus but if you don't think you will be caught (HIGH chance you will be) then go for it, also if your fairly new to coding this wouldn't be an easy program to code.
