Well, when I bought my computer, I wasnt as computer savy as I am now, and it didnt come with some small things, so whatever.
Well, I was wondering, if I bought a USB, to PS2 cable would it really be true PS2? So, it can be faster and let me hit all the keys at once? I only have USB's in the back of my computer.
So, if I got a USB, to PS2, to USB (back of the PS2 cable) would it be true PS2 and have the capability's or what?
Sorry for my noob question and thanks!
If I'm understanding you correctly, You have a USB keyboard now. And you wish to convert it with an USB to PS2 to USB?
I guess I've never tried that myself. But no, I highly doubt that it would even power up and recognize the keyboard, let alone make it a full PS/2 keyboard. I think as long as the last connection is going to be USB, you're not going to have a PS/2 keyboard.
I think the only advantage of a PS/2 board is you can roll your face on the keyboard for hours without issues, and USB you can only hit 10 at a time? (Roll your face on the NUM pad only?)
But if your Mobo doesn't have a built in PS/2 connection, I wouldn't worry about it at all. Unless of course you are absolutely concerned about face rolling.
