[_DeNy]

This script allows the user to easily send PMs from threads.

How to install:

• I recommend Firefox with the Greasemonkey extension or Google Chrome with the (REQUIRED) Tampermonkey extension (REQUIRED).

  Google Chrome / Chromium: Install TamperMonkey from the Chrome Web Store. Then follow the instructions for installing under FireFox.

I dont get how to add a script, I downloaded tempermonkey, now what?

Which browser are you using?
I'm guessing since you downloaded tampermonkey, you're using chrome.

Just go to the script page, click install, then install it under tampermonkey.

The window is toggleable. You can open it or close it. HF looks exactly the same until you click the "Open PM Box" button.

You don't even need Tampermonkey, do you?

You just drop the .js file in the extensions page of chrome.

You might not depending on the functions the script uses.
I usually suggest using tamper money with my scripts. I sometimes use functions specific to that plugin.

You also will not get some of the functionality (IE: jQuery, Ajax requests, egc)
Really it's more for the developers than the users.

There is a bug, if you try to PM somebody with a full PM box, it looks like it went through when it really didn't. Happened to me a few times today.

Not much I can do about that.

Cant you have it check if the thread title appeared in your sent box?
and if it didn't, warn you?

Would have to make a query to your sent box, and (for people like me) its not at the default location. Just makes it harder.

For some reason, it won't work for me. I'm using SRWare Iron (OS Google Chrome) on Mac and when I click "Open PM Box", nothing happens.

Well, for one... SRWare Iron isn't a browser I support...

It doesn't modify the post length at all. Overlays the post.
I guess you didn't bother using it, right? Just looked at the picture.
