Best Encrypter Currently?

Been out of the scene for awhile and I'm a little outdated. When I was active DarkEyE was the popular choice. I just recently checked into DarkEyE and they're only offering monthly subscriptions @ $40.. nty. Looking for something without any dependencies and nice features (comparable to DarkEyE -- especially the persistence with uac disabled.. basically made it extremely hard to remove even with av's). Ideally, I want an encrypter that's reputable and reasonably priced too. Suggestions?
