I've been meaning to ask this, but can we change a Windows machine MAC address via say, a Live CD?

To my understanding, the program is capable of writing to the EEPROM memory chip of the network device in order to change the MAC address. If I remember correctly there's an Atmel AT93C series EEPROM on the Alfa cards PCB but haven't found any mention of ethtool working for wireless devices. See here and here. When I use this code: ifconfig - a | grep HWaddr I get these two MACs: - eth0 - wlan0 Is eth0 the router's MAC? Would changing both of them be more effective or should I just change one? Thanks for the tutorial OP.
