Ganta is the only survivor after a mysterious man in red slaughters a classroom full of teenagers. He's framed for the carnage, sentenced to die, and locked away in the most twisted prison ever built: Deadman Wonderland. And then it gets worse.

At Deadman Wonderland, convicts are forced into brutal deathmatches for the amusement of the masses, the cheers of the crowd drowning out the screams of the dismembered. Even when Ganta befriends Shiro, an unusual female inmate, his dark fate crushes all hope —until he discovers the strange ability to wield his spilled blood as a weapon. Ganta learns his new skill might be related to the murderous man in red and uncovers disturbing secrets that could expose those who stole his freedom. He's determined to see justice served —but first he'll have to fight for his life in a prison that holds a million ways to die.

[juniiflow]

Thanks guy's ✌

You should've also mentioned how much better the manga is in relation to actually getting on with the story.

I did't read the manga, i am planing to tough. i am not really the type of guy that likes to "read".

[Marluxia]

This anime was pretty good, I remember watching it when it was airing, wasn't that bad.

[juniiflow]

I watched the 12 episodes yesterday, just finished them... I'm disappointed at the ending though.

This one was beautifull just wish they continued it instead of leaving it so open. Makes me very frustrated. -.-

The ending was really dissapointing and rush, and i would of like if they would of not rushed it, at least make the series 24 episodes.

i hope they change their mind. i actually loved this anime.

[Common Thief]

Really good anime, I wonder if there will ever be a continuation.
As with most anime, I find it sad when the creators choose to stop the anime but continue the manga.

[juniiflow]

Up you go buddy,
yeah if anyone looking for a new anime with "Violence" watch this.

[juniiflow]

Did anyone else think that Ganta was a whiny little bitch, but still a pretty decent lead character?

✌ right here dude, he actually step up to the plate.

[D3tr3x]

I enjoyed this anime, although I got so mad when I saw the ending and how they rushed everything around episode eight I believe.

[juniiflow]

I can't really remember correctly if he was like that in the manga too or not. I just remember there being a lot more bad ass fighting scenes in the manga. I can't wait for the next chapter to come out.

dude i almost got adicted to the manga.
i started reading it today got to chapter 30
and will problably finish it now
omgawhd, the "second season" its amazing. (on the manga)
