Aren't you being a little too harsh? I see no reason to hate on this thread when I'm complete beginner when it comes to graphics and I find this tutorial pretty neat knowing.

I'm always harsh, and when people don't crack and remain respectable, they earn my respect. And if they don't they make themselves look like morons.

You seem a lot different, a lot harsher. I don't think you should let it effect your personality, there's a time to always be harsh and a time to just be a nicer person. So times you may get a responsive you never expected.
