Make a Anime watcher Program?

How come there isn't a program for watching Anime... All you would need to do is have the program use Regular expressions to scrape video links from sites and make it so you can play it inside the program using WMP, VLC, ect... You could easily add in a function to check to see if there is a new episode out... I would do it but my GUI skills suck dragon balls.
