PyPaste - Simple pastebin client

Hey! Today I am releasing my latest program that I have been developing today. It doesn't really do anything special, it just uploads stuff to pastebin.

Maybe tomorrow I'll expand this so that you can download existing pastes etc.

Anyway, here's a screenshot:

Here's a link to the source, feel free to do whatever you want with it!:

It's not too hard - the real challenge will be (in my opinion) having the user select the file they want to use in some way. When it comes to actually reading the file, that's a simple enough task that should only take a couple lines of code.

Just a thought.

That's a good idea, and very easy to add too! I'll do that in the morning and then update the thread.

Thanks for the suggestion 👍
I might work on a python backend of pastebin. Not sure yet.

Sounds good! Let me know once you've finished so I can check out the code :)

I've just added that feature now. The updated code is on Github and here's a screenshot:

I could see that being a little annoying for a user, but that's really the only thing I can think of that you might wanna look at or add.
Great job!

Just tested it now and it inserts spaces, it doesn't switch to the button :)
Amazing :)

Your not the real Richard Stallman are you? ;)

If he was real RMS it wouldn't have a GUI and he wouldn't being proprietary programs like Skype.
Thanks for all the replies people :)

And no I'm not the real Richard Stallman. Unfortunately I don't have a 2 foot beard :(
This is a very clean program and useful as well.

Regards brother

Yeah I usually use Arch but when Ubuntu 13.04 came out I gave it a try and never changed back :/

I've removed most Ubuntu crapware though :P

I believe this only works in python 3 for now
Good job. Do you use any kind of GUI builder for python? (If so what) Or did you manually map everything yourself?
