Infinity_ Wrote:Hey I'm trying to decide between eset, and kepersky. Which one would you recommend and is esets slightly lower detection rate a big deal? Thanks! If you have a good system, 4GB of RAM and a Dual or Quad (or above) core system - You may consider Kaspersky. If you are already on a slow or weak system, go with Eset. Eset uses less system resources, hence that choice. Either way, install and run weekly or bi-weekly scans with Malwarebytes free edition (or pay for Pro if you so choose). This is more for a secondary scan and opinion. Example, when a doctor says you are terminally ill but feel file/seem fine, you'll want a second opinion or tests to be run - Hence where Malwarebytes comes into play. NOTE: Do NOT install two antiviruses at the same time and do not mistake Malwarebytes as a anti virus! |
