VirtuLayer strives to provide the absolute best VPS experience on the market. Our nodes are virtualized using KVM to get entirely hardware-based virtualization. KVM containers run completely separate from the rest of the system with entirely dedicated resources (CPU, HDD, RAM, uplink) and, unlike OpenVZ, cannot be oversold. This gives the end user the illusion of a dedicated server without the drawbacks of standard VPS. You get full root access to every part of your server: even kernel settings are yours to change.

On top of having some of the most kick ass VPS on the market, the networks we host on are extremely abuse friendly. They will ignore abuse reports and so will we. VirtuLayer will try their absolute hardest to avoid ever having to suspend your server due to complaints. If it ever comes down to it, you will receive a prorated refund based on time used and if your infrastructure is entirely affected, you will receive a refund IN FULL. That day has yet to come.

The only rules we have are on what we don't allow: child pornography, bestiality and any abuse that negatively affects our hardware. If you are caught engaging in any of these activities you will be fucked. WE MEAN IT.

Receiving DDoS is also not allowed. If you're hit with an attack we will work with you to try and restore your service but if you're a magnet for attacks you will be suspended indefinitely. Don't make yourself a target.

Our servers are hosted on nodes that have spoofing enabled. That means you can DDoS with your favorite spoofed scripts or engage in whatever fun you can find in spoofing.



With a shitty list this thing was pushing over 760 megabits.



Each VPS is allowed to use the node's full 1000 Mbit connection (albeit bursted) and abusing that will mean we will drop the rate limit hammer on your ass and keep you well below a speed where you can't generate any problems for our other customers. Rate limits are implemented on each VPS at 30000 packets per second. This limit cannot and will not be lifted so don't ask.

Every VPS comes with logins to our SolusVM panel for full control over the VPS and on-the-fly reboots, reinstalls, root password changes and more: the whole fuckin' she-bang. You'll be controlling your server like some kind of internet wizard.

We've got automatic provisioning and our admins are standing by waiting for you! Oh, and most of the registration fields are optional: you can figure out which ones aren't on your own.

From a technical standpoint, overselling guaranteed memory and CPU time is stupid because as soon as you oversell the VPS you will have huge stability problems on the nodes. It isn't fair use like OpenVZ.

And RAID 10 requires 4 drives but since we are using 2 drives for each set of RAID 1 it is the equivalent of 2 drives only due to the striping.

It's possible with problems no matter how little you oversell but if overselling was the intention OpenVZ would have been a much better choice.

We can offer unmetered bandwidth but do note the hard limits on transfer rates when it comes to packets per second. This hard limit has been implemented to keep the node stable since the primary reason people will be buying these VPS is for DDoS.
