This anime sold really bad, it was basically another Deadman Wonderland. America liked it but since anime is usually aimed at Japan we don't get as much say. It has like almost no chance of a second season and Japan doesn't seem to want one either.

Btoom was good, but had the potential to be great! It fumbled the ball. The female heroine was VERY passive, to the extent that it was a putoff. The ending was also really anticlimatic. :/

This Anime (Btoom!), together with TLA (The Last Airbender [even though the ending was superb]), was the only anime that left me with a huge feeling as what I can only describe as melancholy just because it simply ended. I wanted too keep watching until my eyes dried up.

It's almost to the point that I wish I had never watched it due to the fact that it was so perfect it rendered other anime close to void and shallow.

So after reading a bit i found out that the ending wasn't that good... is it still worth watching?

It is, but the ending is a cliffhanger. I hope there's a BTOOOM! OVA released, I don't think a second season's a possibility. Sadly, the manga is being released at a very slow rate, so I don't think people will be able to see it soon.
