Avoid Network Solutions Increased Renewal Price

I awhile back I used that common 0.50/0.75 cent domain deal for Network Solutions and found out to renew it, it would cost $37 for one year. I found an easy way to get that amount back down to $10. Sign into NetworkSolutions Go to Manage Account Under "My Domain Names" select the expiring domain Scroll down to "Transfer Lock" Click on "Turn On or Request Authorization Code" It should prompt you Your Special Renewal Rate: Renew your Domain Name for $10.00* There you go, hopefully it helps someone out. EDIT: IF you also have a $25 reinstantment fee from being late To avoid this also you can call billing complain, then get them to transfer you to customer care where they'll discount the fee.

Why would you register with Network Solutions?
IMO Hover is the best and you can transfer there for $10. Live phone support with no machines, quick and simple UI.
