Project: Open Source Community Programming Language

I personally believe that all of the coders/programmers should get together and create an open-source programming language. If you guys are to actually do this then unfortunately I will be unable to contribute as I only know basic Java. My Java book just got here today and I will be learning and improving my skills. If this is to be done, then I would like to be credited somewhere(don't have to, but that would be nice). Once the language is created there should be an IDE and libraries for the language. Please think about it. Remember to keep it Open Source! Have a great day!

Edit:
Also in the credits it should say "Created by the HackForums community"
I for one think this would be really cool and really awesome if enough people actually got interested. I am fluent in C and pretty decent at assembly, so I would most definately be able to help.

I really do hope people get interested and reply saying that they'll do it. I'm not fluent in any language so I can't contribute at all. I'm currently learning Java so hopefully I'll be able to help soon.
Well when you have become better in programming in a few years, why not make it yourself?
And why the hell should you be in the credits if you don't even contribute?

Why make it myself when I asked the community to get together and make a programming language? This isn't about me, it's about the community as a whole to actually get together and do something that can potentially increase the user base of this community. Not only is it about increasing the user base, but also to form friendships with others.

Also I could(notice I didn't say should) be placed in credits because I asked the community to get together and create a open sourced programming language. If they did get together to create this open sourced programming language then they can decide on whether or not I deserve to be placed. In my original post I never said "put me in the credits," I said "if you want," which means it's their decision.

Also I never said "add me to the contributions credit." If I was added to the credits I would like to be placed in the "Idea was originally started by" section. Like I said earlier "it's up to them."
