[Showcase] String encryption using Images

One of the threads ive seen had a barcode project wich was nice btw , no offense.

However i was inspired to make some kind of image level encryption from text with that concept,
same as QR code does, but my idea was to implement a chartable key set that can be easily loaded with
a serialized object methods wich are and will be randomized on demand,
each character has a 10bits binary sequence that i would translate back into black or white.
If you draw that correctly you can see how this will unfold.

I made a prototype and it seems to work but it has still some issues with size and all that, if its done i will release it.

So whats usefull about this, you got a small image that contains an encrypted message
and you need the correct chartable keyset to decrypt it this file can be shared on both sides
and all you do is send the image over, wich can be done easily,
at the moment it can hold up to 255 characters. ill see if i can pump that value further.

The repeated pattern you see under the actually message is (not yet entirely finished) the EOF flag
so the reader knows, alright thats it pack up and show the user, flag.

Any feedback would be welcomed 🎉

Little side note,

This would be freaking funny if the image would be the key of an archive and the charset key can be bought or something thru a survey XD

ps. I have no idea whoever said that i was french, he is wrong, im dutch for fuck sake 😶

Yeah that was the correct name for it, steganography , toally forget that this concept has a name actually. lol thanks for that!

Spoiler (Click to View)

its used rc4 encryption. not tables :(

but instead of black and white it uses colors. Which allows for alot more storage. 1 pixel stores 3 bytes. The image is sized according to the input size. 64x64 pixels will store 64 64 3 = 12288 bytes.

Really great idea. Thanks for giving me something to do.

Cool mate ^^ im still tinkering with mine tho.

I use a chartable , does yours also keep the crlf's in place?
Ok ive been tinkering alote, this is how far ive come;

- User can change colors
- Message can be large but is limit to the boundaries
- Aes Encryption where the user can set key
- Default characters supported (UTF8)

Who wants to give it a try? :)
