Interesting.

Seriously though nice job, those look pretty good.
That's pretty cool if you get get this actually integrated with OMC then sell them. Like some if the actual first Bitcoins!

Nice job on them man!
Those look pretty good, I like them a lot. You could probably sell some in the marketplace in all honesty.
Damn nice job dude, nice CAD work right there btw how much did the printer cost you?

Also I would have to get a wallet and stuff setup again because I would have to accept omnicoin to sell omnicoin coins

Thanks for the feedback!

If you do sell them make them include a wallet code on the back that has 1 Omnicoin in the wallet.
Thanks for the feedback. It'd be cool to sell them for actuall OMC but I don't know how I would handle the shipping. Maybe I'd be able to fit them in an envelope but still, that would probably cost a dollar or 2 just to ship. The cost would be a bit high for a little 2 inch piece of plastic.

Who said it had to be two inches
why not four?
What printer did you buy, I sold mine about a year ago

I had a solidoodle 3rd gen Maker bot was too out of my price range, After like two months I just ran out of ideas and it was a bitch to calibrate it correctly without proper tools

My school has a printer similar to that one and it has a similar calibration mechanism. The screw is under the big bar holding the extruder. You can only change the calibration when the bed is on the far bottom, but then you don't know how far to turn it. It also requires a weird screwdriver to tighen.

But I'm starting to get a bit bored also, but I figured lets get back into modeling to test out my skills and also see how much this printer can actually handle.

My printer is the makerbot replicator 2. http://store.makerbot.com/replicator2

It's currently not for sale but it was 2,200 when I bought it. It's price is a bit high for its quality/build volume but the software and ease of use easily cover the cost.

ha. ha. ha. no.

But thanks for the compliment. Means a lot to get all of this positive feedback!
I just remembered fucking with the actual firmware of the printer, I added a glass bed and removed the heat tape or what ever its called Its been a long time since I had it and the name escapes me, I just remember tightning the bolts for the bed trying to get it even on each one, took like 12 hours with my shitty $8 calipers and I kept getting burned from the hotend. Really sucked lol kind of glad I sold it
That's cool! xD Is Omnicoin even useful? I've never heard of it before...
That's pretty fucking awesome, I want to invest in a 3D printer.
That is really awesome. It would be cool if you could have made it the same colors as the coin.
You should fill the ink tank with melted chocolate.
Can we order some of these, or are you not selling?
Make a real-looking BitCoin too, that'd be pretty cool.
