Currency Exchange is the only subforum on HF where you may exchange PP for BTC or OMC. If you would like to purchase BTC in that section you would then be able to head to an online exchange known as AllCrypt. AllCrypt is the only online exchange with Omnicoin listed, all you need to do is deposit your BTC to the BTC address which will be associated with your account (after you sign up), wait for confirmations, and then purchase your OMC. 🙂

Thank a lot man, I was on AllCrypt earlier and it flustered me a bit haha.
How long does the BTC>OMC process take?
And are there any alternative ways to get PP to btc or to omc directly because not many people tend to like to deal with newer people that want to exchange paypal.

If you have BTC on the exchange it should take no time at all. There are two columns, sell offers and buy offers. To make a purchase you must set the amount you wish to pay for each OMC and the amount of OMC you wish to purchase. Once a buy offer is equal to or greater than a sell offer then the trade will be made.

PayPal to BTC --- Most members won't accept it from those who are not trusted, the same can be said about businesses. You could potentially buy BTC with a credit or debit card depending on where you live.

PayPal to OMC --- Again, many people are not willing to because of your reputation. This is however possible but not as common as with BTC. You may be able to find somebody in the currency exchange who is selling OMC for PayPal but it's not very common unfortunately.
