I was selling my CS:GO Flip Knife Slaughter MW for 90 USD when i get a message from Jeff Sied saying he'd pay for it and use diiaz as a middle man. I checked diiaz's reputation, posts etc and he seemed trustable and had no reason to not believe he was legit. I transfer the knife and out of no where they both block me on Steam and diiaz takes a vacation ban straight away.

This just annoys me as i was cautious at the start saying to him that just cause he has 1100 reputation doesn't make him trustable and i still fell for it. I guess it happens to all of us in the end.
Diiaz isn't someone I'd take for a scammer. He has a nice inventory already. Let me send him a message and see what's happened, although this looks legit.

I even got diiaz to send me a private message on Hack Forums just to confirm it was actually him, it's not impersonation if he has access to the account.
@TehAfro - I agree, i really did look around everything just to double check but i must have missed that post you made 6Hunna. If only i looked a bit closer.

The thing that gets me the most, it's not even loosing the money. It's the fact that you can do so many nice things and in return you get a poor skid who could have probably just asked me for some spare change and i'd help him out but he has to scam me 90 dollars. I just don't get people.😠

It's weird. That's not his Steam but he did confirm it via PM so I'm not sure, and the knife isn't in his main inventory either.
Another thing that confirms reputation here on HF, it doesn't mean shit, lesson learned.
Hope you get shit sorted OP, would hate if it was me.

Why would somebody go on vacation ban if it was hacked, he would of kept trying to scam people. It is clearly him.

Problem is he's going to come back from Vacation and ban a lot of other people and nothing will happen to him since Staff don't get involved and most people won't check his reputation as he has fucking 1000. How stupid of me to fall for a 10 year old's scam.
Diiaz was my nigga I don't see him scamming but this looks pretty legit smfh. I hope when he comes back he explains what exactly happened. Either way it's sad to see that you even went first for a deal. I would of used Package as a MM if I were you.
