Saw a post asking how it was done, decided to try it out.
Take your text, angle it how you wish.

Then use the Lasso tool in polygon mode and make a triangle.

Erase the inside part of the triangle, then with the same tool, use "subtract mode" and go about, half way through the triangle, all the way around the top portion.
Once you do this, you'll fill the part in with the same color.

Deselect everything and clean up the back edges.
