Me and Arrow decided we will be adding another leader to run the group since paying for leadership is lame.

You will be running the group alongside Haydrazs, however the userbase that we have right now cannot be changed. You will be free to invite anyone who me, Arrow, or Haydrazs don't dislike.

You are free to change the group to whatever direction you'd like.

Post and explain why, we're only doing this for the community as me or Arrow have no gain out of this.

I think I have what it takes to run a group. I've ran an unoffical group called "The Order" before together with Th3PonyWizard & Aura. It wasn't anything really big, but it means I have had experience with recruiting & removing.

If I were to start a group now, I would make it a simple lounge group compiled of users that have proved to be somewhat useful to HF. I would then ask them for their skillset/interests and create a project that wouldn't be annoying to do so they can choose whether to participate or not. After that's all done I would start thinking of a new project. None of them would be forced, but I'd make them so that you'd want to participate out of your own free will.

Also, you're not sure if a hacking group would work, but I'm really asking you to give Pony a shot, he does wonders.

I am not applying because I know my post count is low and I am still fairly new but this is how I would imagine a group. Most groups here are looking for "HQ" people who excel in the area of speciality. From their it's friends of friends and the sleep your way to the top buy-in's.

There is a gaping hole in the scouting side of all this. Most are not picking up those showing good potential or talent and nurturing these users to become better faster. With good advice and direction from a small group of leaders, teaching them how source requirements, how to protect their identities, ethics, trust, things that take a very long time to fully learn and understand. Building a group of patriotic members rather than a group with users who are in many groups. It's bizarre to me because irl people work for only 1 company or go to one school or fight for one army.

It's only how I see it and as I am not in a group and probably do not understand the mechanics of them am probably misunderstanding it all together. Either way good luck.

I feel like if I could be a leader of a group I could help think of new ways to get the group involved. I really enjoy meeting new people and being involved in group conversations and activities. I've always wanted to see what it was like being a leader but, I never had the funds to buy a leadership position. This could be the perfect opportunity. Also, hackforums has reached a point for me where I dont find myself online as much as I used to just because its become the same stuff, given this opportunity would be a chance for me to expand my ideas and outlook on HF providing me with an actual reason to come on HF and help out with the group.

This is a great idea. Thanks for the opportunity, I've always had a great idea to make a group related to just servers. Echo is a great way to work that, HF has yet to see a dedicated " server " group, by this I mean Webservers, Gameservers, VPNs, Debugging programs etc. on external machines. I have some great ideas such as monthly server awards, we can have a shared server where users are free to experiment whatever they like, we will be able to fund this through various ways including through my personal wallet as I hope.

This idea for starters would be one of a kind, I won't plan on giving you previous experience bullshit because frankly that won't get me anywhere, experience is always nice but everyone has to start somewhere for experience, I'm hoping this can be my experience. Once again this as far as I know has not been done before on HF and we have many server enthusiasts who have the same passion as me that could also use this as a way to gain experience and show others what they can do.

I'm really hoping I can get a chance for this I can elaborate more over PM if you like. Thanks again for the chance and best wishes as well as luck to everyone :).
