Scammed $140 PayPal/$120 BTC by Rice UID 2109906

Here we go again. I sold roughly $120 BTC for $140 PP to the user Rice in two different transactions (one for $12 BTC and one for $130 BTC) around the same time period. Yesterday, PayPal decided to do a temporary hold on the funds. I informed Rice about it via Skype, he responded in stating that his PayPal account is negative which could be the reason for the claim from PayPal (to recoup some of their losses due to the negative balance). I requested Rice to call PayPal, although he still has yet to do so. I'll gladly remove this scam report once I'm reimbursed. From what he's told me, this has happened to other exchangers he's dealt with as well.

Unfortunately, these two transactions were via Skype, but will try to dig up the conversation. Awaiting Rice's reply. To be clear, this is not a chargeback, it's a temporary hold by PayPal; he's just not cooperating with the claims, which makes it seem shady, and thus the scam report was opened.
sorry to hear this op, hope he cooperates and resolves this, gl
I will resolve it soon, just note that this isn't my fault. It was paypal's decision to hold your funds. Even if I call and tell them I recieved your goods etc. things might not change. It's all paypal's secruity system.
So, I called them and all the chargebacks led to the payments to be reviewed (hold). Because, they thought I used the funds from the chargebacks to exchange for BTC. That's why they held the payments. They won't let the funds release until I resolve my limitation which will never happen because I have a negative -1000$ because a dumbass randomly added me and asked if I can hold his payments. He apparently used stolen paypals to send the funds.

EDIT: I had legit funds when I sold stuff on e-bay, then all of them chargebacked because the x-box codes were not working. Then the guy that used stolen paypals sent me payments that eventually had chargebacks also.

Sorry, about everything.. I'll payback soon.

Did you mention that you paid for graphics services/coding? Don't see why they'd hold the funds hostage from me because of your limitation ._.
Yes, I did mention that. Just listen to the call yourself.

Why should I be accountable for that?

You're in like every currency exchange thread trying to make a buck. I understand the hustle, but you never seem to assess risk when doing exchanges. Hope this gets resolved anyways buddy.

There's no buyer protection as much as there's no seller protection for virtual items.

How long ago was the dispute made?
Still on hold by the guy.

I'm in a Skype call with Rice, just got out of a call with PayPal. The rep said the transaction was reversed in his favor (I still lost the $). Not entirely sure how you got your money back....
digital goods not covered under seller protection is what the guy said on the call
Is it even worth the risk? for the amount made?
