Free TechyToolkit for all..

Hey guys just though i would share.

I am currently working on building a tech/optimization toolkit that is very small and downloads each extra thing should you need it. Anyway I have attached the screen shot below, along with the virus scan link and also the download link should you wish to try it.

Its Functions:
  • Creates a restore point - You must wait for this to complete before doing anything else
  • Opens MSConfig
  • Opens Task Manager
  • Download CCleaner to %appdata% and opens it once downloaded
  • Downloads Autoruns to %appdata% and opens it once downloaded
  • Downloads ShalliRemoveIT Portable to %appdata% at opens it once downloaded
  • Downloads Speccy to %appdata% at opens it once downloaded
  • Runs CheckDisk on C: Drive
  • Starts System File Checker sfc /scannnow
  • Opens Add and Remove Programs or appwiz.cpl
  • Checkswhether 32 or 64bit and downloads the correct roguekiller and executes after download completes
  • Runs Netstat -o 3
  • Downloads FarBar Recovery Scan Tool to the Desktop for easy location of the logs.
  • Downloads JRT to %AppData% and starts the application once the download is complete
  • Downloads ADWCleaner to %Appdata% and opens once complete
  • Downloads MiniToolBox to %appdata% and opens when downloaded
  • Downloads MalwareBytes to %appdata% at opens it once downloaded
  • Downloads TDSSKiller to %appdata% at opens it once downloaded

When the application is downloading the buttons become disabled and once complete re-enabled.

The file size is only 251KB. Let me know if you have any suggestions or issues

Its still a working progress and i am not a programmer but i hope you like it.

BTW, I know Chrome and Internet Explorer will say the file is a risk as its not frequently downloaded, as its new. Ill be fixing that later.

Cool man. Well i do alot of remote tech support work and instead of copy paste all the urls for the downloads over i just thought this was quicker and very simple to use. Glad you find it useful

Thanks for the vouch man. Yeah if anyone has doubts I will quite happily show you visual studio and the code no problem.

als restoring the Browser Shortcuts, a ton of malware currently modifies their startpage using that method.

🤝

Perfect thanks man. Thats also the purpose of this giveaway...any suggestions that will make this more usable and beneficial to the user are appreciated. I will look into adding this function today hopefully, if not by the weekend.

Keep suggestions flowing guys.

Yes! Get ya! I like it... you mean like when someone is ratted and they disable task manager currently the button on the toolkit currently just does:
open task manager

but it should check to see if task manager is disabled and if so fix it first and then run it.

I hope im getting your point.

Just check if a Debugger is set at
Code
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options
and remove it.

Thanks man. I will definitely make that work. Tips from RazorSoft himself.. it means alot. Thanks for your creative input.

Thank you for the share mate.

Btw, if it hasn't already then please add an auto-update feature so it searches for the latest version! That would be useful for me in the future as an alternative to checking if mine is updated if I happen to be reminded by seeing your thread pop-up again.

Nevertheless, vouch for Digital and his swanky toolbox!

Kind Regards,

Thanks for the vouch and I am glad you like it. The app and some of the apps within such as speccy, autoruns & shalliremoveit are portable so not sure about the update feature. However the toolkit does download the latest versions of JRT, ADWCleaner, MBAM e.t.c

I may add a notification to the app to advise should a new version be available (maybe that a way around) but tbh when techytoolkit.com is up it will be much easier to download the latest version directly from there and/or from download.techytoolkit.com and being only 260kb it was designed to be downloaded and run just whenever needed.

Thanks for all suggestions I am grateful and will look into improving this toolkit as best as I can.
Whoop I just got into Debug!

Neither ring 0 or 3 and yes your more than welcome to see the source code. Send me your skype and ill share screen tomorrow. TBH its not in my interest with such a clean record and years of posts to try to infect users of HF or anywhere. But if you request to see the source code. No problem kiddo

Thanks man, glad you like it. 🎉
Thanks for all the comments guys. Im pleased you find it useful. I am going to polish the whole thing up, get all the required permissions from suppliers (free software anyway) and release it properly when i get chance. As for SpeedFan and TreeSize.... if people want it..Ill add it.
