PayPal now covering virtual items ...

Any thoughts? I think this sucks, now people will win disputes even easier. Providing evidence that a service like Recovery, or even download was delivered is hard.

Quote:Buyer protection our expanded and now also covers the purchase of intangible goods, such as services and digital goods. Starting today we will review the dispute when customers tell us that the service or digital goods have not been received or not as described.

For you as a seller, it means you now have to answer any disputes customers create intellectual goods. You will be asked to show concrete proof that you supplied the goods or that it was just as described on the transaction date.

The expansion of buyer protection our will benefit you as well, since it means that customers who buy in your shop can feel safer.

I used to win all disputes by saying 'The item was virtual' but now that excuse is gone lol
Omg paypal just became top kek

No more buying a virtual item and losing money when some faggot does not deliver
How would you guys react, if you was selling access to a virtual item (such as download, serial and it was used) then the user says he didn't receive it. PayPal will ask for evidence, how can you give evidence for this?
I will never go back to PayPal, no matter how many people use it. It is cancer.
Yeah, well the only reason why I'm using PayPal still is because it's easy to access for everyone, also almost everyone has it.

Wish there was some kind of alternative to PayPal, that was as easy to access just a little more Anonymous.

Well payivy should add a sent emails tab and show that it did send the email to the buyer. You'll have to set up an email server and have it automatically sending login information so you can prove it and make them use their paypal email for their real email so they can't say it's hacked etc. on phone just woke up from
Nap but I think you get the picture
Problem is, that we need a service that is used by everyone such as some crypto currencies. The problem with BTC is, that its aids atm. PayPal should do a deal with Hackforums and whenever someone scams you, you just link the report and then they are like "Yo Niggah, i gotchu" and close the dispute in your favor /s

Can you make it print some kind of online receipt in pdf format that we can show PayPal, that looks legit with customer information and whether he opened and downloaded/clicked links.
