Go ahead. With the recent news of OMC staying on HF I feel it's time to spread the love!

Tell me why you like HF/What's your favourite thing and the 10 answers I like the most will win a OMC Award or 3P1C upgrade!

Contest will end on 10th of September.
What I like about HackForums is the diversity of the members. Some members are full on trolls, and others are HQ members.
I like how everyday there is a wide range of new threads, where I can post and get replies from people.
The forum is very active and that is needed in a community for others to stay. The average thread gets 4 replies so you will never feel lonely :-)
While the members can be rude, there are a bunch of nice ones that make the new members feel welcome.
The reason I stayed and didn't leave on the first day was because I feel like this site is a challenge. I stayed because I feel like i learn a lot here, and I can teach others stuff that I know. While I haven't made any good tutorials yet, I plan on making some soon :p.
This place is good for people trying to make money as it has an active marketplace, and while I don't agree with all of the rules on the forum most are pretty good and beneficial to the members. This place is like a giant school. There's comedians, teachers and losers. Losers are scammers and stuff, teachers are those who teach and comedians are the members who cheer everyone up.

I'm not going to make a 40 paragraph speech, but good luck to everyone.
I like HF because it's a great community and a lot of different people with a wide variety of humour. To the classic trolls all the way to the serious people here. I love HF because it's a great way to make new friends and to also help each other, personal or hacking life.

Favourite thing would be the reputation giving and receiving. I love seeing some of the things people rep each other for. It's amazing!
I myself like Hackforums because it have so much funny people and trolls and I love them just seeing threads about their lives and other stuff and also I really like their gaming section special league of legends and my favorite things here is the marketplace, lounge, and everybody. I just love getting along with people and my next goal atm is to get into a group but ya

thank you for reading :)
I like HF beacuse of all hacking tutorials , all methods , all tricks for making money, all staff and beacuse of all much cheaper stuff sold here. Its also a waste of time sometimes when you dont have nothing to do.
I love HF because the community is so random, you can literally find any kind of person here and that is awesome. <3
Thanks for all the applications. Keep them coming lads!
Because it's a great learning resource for almost all aspects of computing and technology.

Most of the things I know were learned through HF.

That's it, really.

So true, if you didn't have an OMC award I would've bought you one!
I like HF because here we can share our acknowledges and try to understand better the world.
I like HF because I learn something new everyday.
I hate HackForums....Fuck this place
jk
I like HackForums because it's such a BIG community and you will always find people that are like you and like the same things you do. You will find people that can teach you something as well as people you can teach something. This kind of knowledge exchange easily makes this the biggest and the best forum on the internet at this moment. Even tho I'm really new here I hope to meet many friends and find great people.
Very nice contest, especially since its helping out OMC. I have both so i won't be entering but very nice contest!
Incoming wall of text.

Let me begin by saying that I love forums. I just love to read and post on user submitted material.
I found HackForums by random search one day and joined the forum to seek computer related advice.

At first I only joined the community for advice, but I started posting and simply enjoying the community. I came to realize that HF was the kind of large-scale forum community that I was not completely dedicated to hacking and computers. I found it to be the kind of general forum that I was looking for.

I started my HF days by shitposting and doing horrible trolls. I was no different than a lot of regular members and made a bad name for myself doing so. Needless to say that I just loved to post because HF was the kind of large-scale community where all sorts of different people unite and post. I learned of all the different types of members there are on this forum and how everyone's opinions co-interact with each other.

I found my shitpostings gaining sympathy from like-minded posters while receiving hate from the opposite posters. I started getting more serious about the forum and started posting with more quality. I found myself transitioning from LQ to MQ-HQ posts by simply posting how I saw fit. You could say a lot of my posts were mainly opinion, which obviously formed mixed opinions in people's minds because of how diverse this forum is.

I kept posting more and more during the two years that I've been here. I tried not to spam but I tried to let my opinion and posts be known. I mainly kept my posts within The Lounge/Anime Adventures/Gaming sections. Some of my posts were known and I would end up having conversations/discussions/flame wars with members. I personally saw myself as a member who could be HQ one day and LQ the next. I managed to stay a regular member for two years until a member (fairly recently) decided to upgrade my account to l33t.

The member saw that I was an active poster and somewhat HQ. I saw this as an opportunity to turn myself around as a member. So I started by increasing my overall post quality. I found myself gaining more positive feedback from members now that I was upgraded and posting better, more-so than I ever did during my two years of being a regular member.

Sorry for sharing my life story about the forum but I figured that I would add a bit of my history.

The main reason why I like HF is simply because I love forums and that I love to post. I know I stated that before but just love seeing the different sides of people and the accumulated knowledge and information each member possesses. I love the overall diversity the forum offers and how it is not a forum dedicated specifically to one area/subject. Without the diverse large-scale community with unique members, well, I probably wouldn't be able to come back every day.

I could even go as far as to say that my fondness toward forums, posting, and the community has become an affectionate love-hate addiction now. So simply put that is the reason why I like HF nowadays.
