I see a lot of members complaining that nobody uses XMPP, and the reason for this is that it takes time to setup and is not all that easy to use if you've never done it before.

For this reason, I saw potential in Onu.im.

Onu.im is instant, requires no setup or registration, you go to the site, make a chat, which is a unique link that only you , send that link to the person you wish to instant message and boom, simple as that.

We also have a feature to verify your HF account with on your profile which will display that you're verified in any chat you join.

Enjoy :)

Looks good, I may give this a try and see how it goes. Is this your site?

This is mine, yes :)

No registration required, yet you can verify your HF account? wut

That is if you choose to register. Registration is not required.

... but if you want to not register, you could just use IRC. The reason people should use XMPP is that it's embedded onto your HF account, and it's the closest thing we have to an anonymous chat client if used properly.

But it's not simple enough. Onu.im is much simpler than IRC for users, as well as more user friendly. Create a chat within a single click.

How do we trust someone with an open scam report tho?

What do you need to trust me with?
As I've said many times, that scam report on me is fake and was setup by a member who was upset at me repfucking him, feel free to ask F8 about it, we spoke at the time.

XMPP hard to setup? I just don't see how this is at all a better alternative when I get a 404 error anytime I try to see your FAQ. It doesn't seem complete, and if it's not complete then how can I trust my information will be safe?

Thanks for reminding me, I'll update FAQ tomorrow.

Why is there no HTTPS? Take a look at: https://letsencrypt.org/

I'll add https soon.
