I don't think you can because this is a official .EDU email.

That doesn't come in handy with me, I can't use it than =l

Why is that? You should be able to create the .EDU and use all the features like Student Amazon and Adobe software. Also if you can't log in from the gmail/hotmail/live server.

Yes you can do this.
You get a legit .edu e-mail, if you can normally login from different e-mails with a official .EDU then you can do it with this one as well.
There is nothing different from a "real" .EDU and this one.

So I can just log in on that .edu mail without going to a specific website but hotmail.com?

I'm not sure what you mean :p.
If you use this method you get a 100% real .EDU that is 100% legit and you can do everything with it just like a "normal" .EDU e-mail. If normal .EDU's allow you to login from different e-mail providers then you can do it with this one as well.

The thing is I'm not sure if .EDU allows different e-mail provider logins or not.

It doesn't work with hotmail, it does work with gmail though.
