Car Audio Help! (HU, Subs, Amp)

Punctur · 2016-01-04T02:19:14+00:00

Hey guys. I am looking to install some new audio related things in my 2005 Acura TL (Non Navi) I have a budget (give or take): $1K I am looking to buy a sub, or two. I also would like to purchase an amp that has enough power to power the sub(s). For my car, the HU is very difficult to replace with an aftermarket head unit. If you are knowledgeable with the Acura TL head unit then please HMU! What do you bassheads recommend for a nice trunk build? Also should it be a DIY project or take it to a shop? I am skeptic that the shops will overcharge me a ton, which they probably will.
