Just started watching Mr. Robot

The show not the user ;)

But holy shit I'm 3 minutes in and this scene is to much! He's literally ripping this Indian guy a new one!
Cheers for not spoiling! But it's so good so far, it seems like it doesn't have that hollywood hacker concept like bullshit hacking terms, he actually sounds real.

In many ways he is like myself, but I'd say everyone that watches this show would say that lolol. and yeah I'm keen, bit over half an hour into 2nd episode now, Easily my new fav show.

So true dude, everything so far I have seen on this show is a legitimate hacking term and makes sense, Except for the part where he rang his phone off that guys phone and then deleted his number from the call log... His number would still be on that guys phone record that he made a call to that number, so that was a silly move unless it was a burner number.

I assumed his number would still be on the phone record, but is the record view able by the owner of the phone or would the owner need to call his service provider to grab the number?

I did find it hard to believe that Angela, one of the lower level managers at Allsafe, didn't know what a rootkit was. Some of the hacks are kind of grasping though. But I don't want to spoil it for ya.

Yeah the owner of the phone should get a phone statement of all the numbers he has called, well I do anyways for my work phone and personal, but nonetheless it would only take a call to his carrier to do it, and yeah I thought her not knowing what a rootkit was a little odd as well hahaha

In a way elliot reminds me of dexter but in the hacker world
