A working script? (ipb.pl)

I found out a tutorial well written recently on how to hack forums problem is it don't seems to be working (i get the message "not exploitable") . I have several hypothesis for that one of them being that perhaps it's an old script and not up to date anymore.The other being i use the script the wrong way which is possible since i'm a noob. The name of the script is ipb.pl, ipb stands for IPBoard, and if you read the tutorial it says something about version 1.3.1.
So, that is an exploit for IPBoard version 1.3.1 forums.
