[GUIDE] How to use Brushes aka Vectors! [GUIDE]

I knew this but thanks :3
Question though...I tried organizing my brushes the other day. Look at this:

My Presets/Brushes Folder:

But look at my brushes when I click the little arrow in PS:
Spoiler (Click to View)

The brushes run off the screen, I can't see all of them, and all those don't appear in my folder...

Can you help?
thank you, from here i learned a lot of things about photoshop :) :) :)
Good guide, but if you are teaching beginners you should teach proper terminology!
Brushes are not ever vectors. Vector refers to curves and shapes created by complex mathematical algorithms...not individual pixels!
Sometimes vectors are transformed into brushes but you can never truly have a vector in photoshop...

Most beginners know brushes as "vectors" so I used it as title.

Well lets set them straight right now so they don't look feel dumb thinking that a brush is a vector :)

Good post by the way you were + repped.
nice post, surely it's easier to go onto the brush menu, then on the little arrow on the right then click load brushes?

But this works too.

fair enough :P i only knew that way so thanks for showing me a new way, always room for learning i guess :)

Otherwise you can click Start > Search > (the one that opens a window) > and press search without anything in the text box, this should give you a list of every file on your hardrive. Now if you organized all of the files in that folder alphabetically, you will find all of your brushes in there, so you can figure out which brushes you want in a certain preset ahead of time.

I have everything organised in my Presets>Brushes folder, but I have a ton buttload of extra ones in PS.
great guide for beginners!
There is an even easier way than what Defz mentioned, just highlight them and open, they will automatically be added to your brush list.

Good job never the less.
thanks, I learned alot from this, good guide :D
Nice tutorial, I hope this help some of the Photoshop 'noobs'.
