OMC

~OMC~ and Tenaxium stole 190,000 omnicoins from omc-wallet and omniwallet

Yeah me too, was surprised when I heard this news. Didn't you run an online wallet?

He was drawn into this by ~OMC~ and is a scapegoat imo. I talked to him and I've known him for over a year, he did not gain any OMC because ~OMC~ took them back.

You mean tenaxium sent them back right? And even if he was a scapegoat he stole thousands of dollars and hard work from HF members and deserves his ban.

Yeah I did. Strangely the only one that didn't get hacked. I didn't want to continue it since it wasn't created to be an online wallet but something else.

He didnt steal thousands of dollars...~OMC~'s btc address has gained about 400 bucks in the past two days. The whole lot of 190k OMC is only worth about 1.5K USD, so I don't know what your talking about. He was sucked into this, and it backfired when he was trying to make a quick buck.

He is quite good at multi accounting looking at how he keeps on successfully scam people from one account after another.

No. He shouldn't be able to come back regardless. It's called a punishment for a reason. He turned greedy and he has to learn his lesson.

50%? How about the rest of the people who lost their coins? It can be 200% and he shouldn't be allowed back.

He did gain at least $2,000. We saw his transactions. Originally I thought it was $5,000.
Could anyone please explain me what tex did exactly?
Since I know he was involved in the use of the exploit but ~OMC~ got all the money.
He admitted in his wrong doings, and apologized. He so stated, can't confirm this, that he did not know they were stealing and as soon as he knew he stopped. So I believe he deserves a second chance. He was se'd and lost hos account on which he spend a lot of money. He was a trusted user, using an exploit which he did not understand.

$1,500 right now but how about the amount people really paid? I lost $400 of OMC because I purchased at a 1:30 rate a while back and now the rate changed. It's well over $1,500.

Who gained 2k? ~OMC~? The other dude ran away with the beans and the only person left to blame was Tex.

Wow... Okay...Its the owner of the online wallet whos at fault. Those two took advantage of the situation.
You should have never kept such an large amount on an website. Any website can be hacked into. Just look at these forums some where. Im sure you can find away.
If you read that chat logs, you would see they talked about how if he had waited more, he would have made $2,100.
Nice work tracking it back to these two members, Sh1eld. 🤝

Blaming the owner is controversial as even though you can blame him, not one single site is bulletproof. You can hack any site, you just need to figure out it's vuln.

Owners at fault for running a site with poor security hacked using a public exploit.

Xflat and his team are more at fault for getting notified of the bug by the kid himself, but failed to "fix it". They were given the chance to fix it and just went off and really ignored it resulting in more omnicoins being stolen which is the most ironic part of this story.

Thats if he sat on the OMC and waited for the price to rebound. Not stealing more OMC.
