Make your Hackforums account almost unhackable!

Also, why do you capitalize each word with one letter being capitalized. It's quite annoying, don't you think?

If you are that easily annoyed over a simple text then avoid any costumer related jobs 😉 😝.

Hotmail also makes your email address valid to other people if you haven't signed in for ninety plus days. It has been known to create major issues and makes it surprisingly easy to hack multiple websites, addresses and impersonate as other people apparently.

Eww, hotmail emails get hacked all the time. Technically, the most secure email, would be your own custom email.
This can come in handy for many. :) thanks for posting this HQ thread.
Very nice thread. Deserves sticky lol.

Nice job.
goodbye
This is a very good thread. This will be very helpful for me and other Hotmail users.
Well explained, well done. Thanks for sharing.
Very cool, Thank you for explaining this to us.

LOL... No they're not. They've become one of the most secure services after their upgrades unless you use Hotmail+, then not.

Not really... what about when someone hacks your box.

More importantly. Why is a forum that's based on hacking concerned about email security? This should be the easiest concept to grasp for anyone.
>Don't use old outdated email services.
>Don't reuse passwords.
>Always have alternate emails.

Nothing is 100% secure anyway, that is why engineers are constantly working on the security.
Thanks for the feedback guys. There are other security measures I also take regarding email, I'll probably add them later. ;)

I disagree with that. I used to spend A LOT of time when I was bored, going through random facebook accounts with 4/5k friends, to see which of them had a public email and then I would try to hack it. And because of some small, yet significant details, I usually had a much bigger success rate hacking gmail emails than hotmail.

Yahoo and especially AOL emails were the easiest to hack though. Especially AOL. When the target had an AOL email, I would almost always get it. Their security steps are a joke lol.

I agree that this is not their specialty. 🤣

Yahoo just added their own 2-step verification system.
