I mean I'm not trying to hate on the designer or anything, but I think it looks pretty awful. The "17" is a nice idea, but looks weird and it doesn't match Hack Forums in the slightest.

Also running purple theme, though so maybe that's why.

This one was much better, the winning logo just sticks out like a sore thumb. Doesn't look like much effort was put into its creation either.
