That's actually a good idea. This way we won't have users who register and start selling shady stuff on day 1.

I see this as the best compromise. Banning completely is a little harsh and doing nothing at all is lazy. But forcing new people to at least wait until they sell anything there would be very beneficial for all. Except the scammers of course 🤣

I don't think this should be implemented, L33T members also contribute a lot to the market it's like limiting the people that spend at a store.. It doesn't really matter some members are new and are just testing the waters.

you want to restrict one of main features of a paid usegroup? Many sellers don’t want to bust $100 in btc (they might not know what that is) on an upgrade. Many don’t want to buy uber either. Leet can be just enough.

If you’re going to suggest something stupid like that at least have an actual reason instead of your feelings.

l33t should be removed from the premium seller section, newer members will trust these members more even if the l33t account is also brand new, makes it much easier for them to scam

I have read a full thread and replies and would like to add something.

There should be eligibility on the basis of "Online Time" on HF to post in PSS.

Pros of adding this.

● The newer members who are here to sell or buy will become somewhat familiar with site before actually using the section.

● "Account Creation Time" is not feasible to decide whether L33T members can post in PSS or not. Someone can create multiple accounts and scam one after another by buying L33T if that's a main issue here as suggested by OP in thread.

● Adding "Online Time" eligibility will add somewhat "Premium" quality to Section as not everyone will be eligible to post in that section. You need to spend time on HF and get familiarised before actually dealing in that section.

● If you have dispute opened (against you), you can't post in that section unless it is resolved. Although this can be abused as some new members opens dispute without actually knowing what it is and never intend to resolve it.
Staff can play a crucial role by marking such disputes invalid.

● If a person really wants to post in PSS, they should buy UB3R and this would help site to gather some funds which can be used to invest on adding new features.

These are some points that came in my mind. Will update if something new strikes me.

Basically what you've mentioned is the requirements of what UB3R use to be like when applying, I can't remember if you still need to apply, pretty sure you don't but like Eagle said, the Premium Sellers Section should never be based off of a usergroup or nor should it be disallowed for L33Ts, like I said in my post before... It's like everyone honestly needs to be spoon fed on how to deal on-site, like literally. There are so many features that are implemented at the moment to HELP people avoid being scammed but people are just being so lazy and cannot take the time to actually look into a profile or even check their market profile.

It's irritating to see people always wanting new things being done for the marketplace, people need to stop being so dense and actually take time out of their day to ensure THEIR OWN safety when dealing.
