There is a major problem with current legislation. It does everything to make it difficult for the average person to live without fear of the government ruining their lives, and does nothing to actually punish criminals for their use.

Real "assault weapons" that I used in the military are banned. But otherwise, yes, I do.

This is the biggest friggin myth there is. I've yet to be able to acquire guns legally without going through a full background check, and no one else I know that has either. I do know some people that acquired really scary looking pew-pews without getting one because they bought from arms dealers. Definitely not legal.

No you just shoot center mass good luck getting the chance to aim for the head in the middle of a gun fight always aim for center mass and legs are just as if not more dangerous to shoot someone as the chest because of the arteries and the risk of bullet hitting bone and shattering it causes more internal bleeding.

If your shooting someone in self defense I would retreat and then shoot if it's a last resort and certainly not "neutralize" another civilian as I'm not a police officer and will be charged with murder if I become an aggressor in self defense. Here's a prime example:

I was a Marine for 9 years. Its second nature. Occasionally I go shoot out back just to make sure I still "got it" and its like riding a bike. Its second nature at this point.
