You're right He isn't responsible, but not because someone in the Church did something wrong so all did. People always try to find a rule perché gli pesa il culo revisionare caso per caso (ex. racism --> "white people are racist/black people can't be racist"; cases of pedophilia in the Church --> "all priests are pedophiles").
