I think they are equally terrible addictions. Here in the US the issue is the drugs being cut with fentanyl and it is killing so many people.

Porn addiction. Drug and alcohol addiction has barrier of entry at least, but everyone can get their hands on porn. I've seen kids around 12-14 watching porn in public. Even I first found about it when I was 11, it's so easy access. Another reason it's worse IMO is cause people don't take it seriously. You'll even find people encouraging porn and masturbation like it's nothing, especially on Reddit and Discord.

I totally agree. I am very involved and vocal on Reddit speaking out against porn addiction and trying to help others struggling with it. I know how hard it is as I fight this demon myself. I discovered it when I was probably 11 or 12 and didn't realize I had a problem until high school and I still haven't beaten it but have came a significant way since then. People on Reddit and Discord are all about "gooning" which is an ick to me. They justify it by whatever means they can. I have no problem if an adult truly wants to watch porn on their own will. However, when kids get addicted at a young age it really fucks up their brain. My dopamine receptors are so fried it is unreal. Trying to do a brain reset.

Alcocholism and fentanyl and on occasion some more heroin and instantly the world becomes a more beautiful place 😆

I probably wouldn't eliminate it out of all the other addictions as it is one of the safer addictions compared to others.

If I could eliminate any addiction from the planet, it would be drug addiction.
It causes so much harm to individuals.
Removing it would save countless lives.
