I recommend you making a builder for it - so the user can choose. No point of making something that only does ftp and has a specific interval.
Since you have to make a builder anyway, just give it some options:
FTP or Email
Interval
Startup method
Possible startup error message
------------------------------
Do that, and make sure the logs have the proper symbols in tact. No one likes a shitty log.
I make sure my logs are always well organized.
I did find it easier to make backspace "<" symbol. Works for me.
Make sure you have the window name as well - and i'm not sure if the "time" is important or not.
And i'm going to let you know now, if you're going to put a lot of time and effort into this, do NOT make it publically available. Its like throwing your time down the drain. Give it two weeks tops, and it'll be detected by a fair amount of AVs.
And not to mention Noobs like using virustotal when they shouldn't.
If you do something big like what i mentioned above, I suggest you sell it. Especially if its Fud.
I was thinking of actually distributing the source code, that way everyone can see what they are using and can modify the parts for themselves but a builder might definitely be a better option, don't have the time to do this part but I will look into it. You know of how to write a program in C# which will create an exe with the options specified in the GUI part? Hmmm wouldn't it need to be compiled or should I make it so it only shows the GUI on the first run, gets and stores the values inside as a resource, I was considering assigning a HotKey to show the GUI, that way the options can be edited more easily and it will remain hidden on the target unless they press some weird key combination...hmm lol. Maybe I should have a hotkey which also checks if the user is the target or the hacker and only show the GUI part if it is the hacker maybe by having the hacker add a registry key manually to check against...
I don't like getting the window name because most of the time it is useless, yea it can be handy to know what program they are typing the text into but it will eat up the processor for little gain.
The logs will definitely be clear and easy to read, that part of the programming is very easy but I don't know if people want special keys to be added such as "F8" or "Ctrl", etc. I'm going to come up with an original solution for the backspace problem, I want to create text that will show what was typed so I'm thinking read the current active window and if it hasn't changed then actually remove the last character on press for backspace but then again it would take a lot of resources up.
As for selling it, I definitely will not charge anything for it but am considering only distributing it to select users, that way people won't submit it to antiviral programs.
I dont know how to in c#.
But a window is a must in my opinion. And its simple to do.....very simple.
But if someone types an email address and password.........the users are going ot need to know what login they just entered. Otherwise it'll be pointless.
Also, dont make it have a hot key. Make a builder for it.
I'm not sure I know what you mean by "builder", do you mean an application which will create an exe with specific code?
I'm highly considering having the hacker add their own registry key, I can write a simple batch script or registry key file to give to the hacker which they will run first to add a specific key to their registry before running the exe, then they run my exe and it checks the registry for that specific code and if it is there it does not activate the keylogger but shows a GUI with options for the hacker to edit, these values can then be stored as a resource in the exe, then when they send the exe to a remote computer it will have the correct options in the resource which the program loads but since there is no registry key on the remote computer the program will start the keylogger, etc.
Do you use builders with VB? C++? C? asm? delphi? python? I've heard of them and probably used them before but don't remember, ahh I feel old.
OMG you're best ^^
I'd really like your job,pls make it!
Ah if it's dectable it isn't a problem for me :)
Your keylogger would be nice if it had these features:
Deletes Steam saved passwords
Deletes FF saved passwords
Delete all saved passwords on computer
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
I WOOD LIKE TO TRY IT PLEEZE///
@Dfox: What is the point of deleted saved passwords, that would only increase the chance that the user will be alert that something is going on with their computer, yeah it will force them to type the password again but there are better ways to get stored passwords.
To get firefox's saved passwords what I will do is just copy the signons.txt file from the profile directory to the FTP server, this file can then be decrypted using the below DOS program:
http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2007...n-firefox/
This will only work with managed passwords, automatic logging in with cookies will be a different matter, of course I can clear out all firefox and IE cookies if I wanted but that is suspicious to a lot of users...
I would deffo be interested in your keylogger mate, i would like it to be able to identify the website name the user is typing the password for, and i think a custom simple builder for the hacker is a good idea. good look and keep us posted

If the passwords are deleted then they'll have to retype it.
Just a suggestion.
-Send Email of Logs? *no need for me
-Send FTP? *yes
-Keep Logs with special characters such as <Ctrl> or <Tab> or just regular text? *just text is ok
-Hide in the process list? *yes
-Hide in the registry & system32 or other folder? (Autostart) *moss deff
-How often should the logs be sent? *5 min or user adjustable
Special Features:
-Get Firefox form entries (powerful - may contain credit card info, passwords, security questions, names, addresses, etc..), Only if Firefox is installed/used *yes
If u make such a logger and its free and working I will give rep+ and will tell anyone how cool u are :)
-Send Email of Logs? *ftp is better
-Send FTP? *yes
-Keep Logs with special characters such as <Ctrl> or <Tab> or just regular text? *text only
-Hide in the process list? *yes
-Hide in the registry & system32 or other folder? (Autostart) *ya
-How often should the logs be sent? *30 min otherwise it's to many
Special Features:
-Get Firefox form entries (powerful - may contain credit card info, passwords, security questions, names, addresses, etc..),
