Completely agreed. Why are people being so naive? If you ever went through his posts, more than half of them are deface related. You would probably figure someone who's been into the security field for over a decade would be cough PROBABLY cough up to something light years away from skiddie waste of time like defacing sites. If you were legal or illegal with over a decade of experience you would probably be laughing at HF and most "hacker" communities as we speak. Primarily if you were illegal you would be up to at very least stuff like exploit development, and easily intermediate application security experience. No disrespect towards anyone, but aren't you guys hackers? I mean, since when does the community get so fucking easily tricked/naive over arguements, lol. P.S: Before you flame back because most of you are insanely butthurt: tl;dr: I'm not saying OP is lying. All I'm pointing to is curiousity over actual security people being so naive. P.S#2: Look at the wallpaper he posted, when exactly was the last time you saw an IP consisting "x.x.x.005"? While watching Die Hard 4? Well said!!! and I thought you most probably would be a 17-20 years old teen who's pretty good. But I guess I was wrong. How ever I find inspiration in this thread & I think for watching the security stuff evolving in front of you, it has really helped you guys from 90's to become awesome hackers. I don't think that modern day kids like us can achieve that unless we get out selves into computer science or something like that. 🤐 Metalhead
I rarely post here, but had to pop in a quick respect for sticking to what's true to you. I started around '99 so I can relate to some of what you posted. Sub7 was still a thing. Netbios "hacking", unicode exploits, etc. Stopped a couple years after that to pursue phreaking after a conversation I had with a phone phreak. Something just felt more "real" about phreaking. Then of course a few years later voip took over and I found much of what I did put me right back where I started. Funny how shit runs full circle like that.
