No, there's no recruitment thread we've always scouted our members on our own.
Yellows suggested a few when we first opened but Cody & I always actively sought, selected, watched members & then invited them.

I suspected a new thread. The other one was bum/ped then closed with a reply that had something to do with the end of the beginning. Not sure, but great to see you again Daisy. The new usertitle says a lot. Best wishes!

Yes. Only Cody & I decided who makes it in, however we have a group of Senior Members that we turn to for their opinion (especially if we have prior knowledge that they know each other well) on someone before actually deciding if they're suitable for 143.

Well I've answered a few questions but I'll explain my actual purpose of making another Official Thread.

1. All group SHOULD have one to answer questions, get to know ppl & meet potential members.
2. 143 has come across a very rough patch.

It is w/a very sad heart that I post here right now.
As our 1 year anniversary comes upon us (& we should be celebrating & just have a wild time) that's not the case.

We've had a lot go on w/us personally as a group family. So I've decided that we need to make positive changes & get 143 out of the rut we're in or disband completely & close our doors.

Initially my vision for 143 was a group for...
1. giveaways ofc (cos that's what I like to do)
2. offer emotional help.
I suffer silently w/many issues & even though I'm not a therapist, doctor nor medical expert, I do have life skills & real issues & I KNOW that just having someone there to talk to, listen to you, help you, advise, can make a HELL of a difference.
I LOVE helping others.
3. Offer advice on sex/relationship related topics. (i.e. sexuality) That may sound odd but since my very FIRST day on Hf ppl have always pm'ed me asking for advice on this very subject. I used to ONLY post in the Innuendo Sect. offering real help.
4. I wanted a group that moved at Rhythm's past. Fast, fun lounges (that abided by forum rules, ofc) but I'm a very chatty person & to me the lounges are the heart of the group. You get to know one another, help each other, talk, laugh & have fun.
Cody was opposed to adding too many ppl for fear it would become LQ. (but idk. I thought it would make it fun tbh. Lol)

So here we are. At a stalemate. 143 has broken down emotionally. We're drained. We've always help the community. Now I'm reaching out to y'all for help.

I'm not ashamed. I'm human.

I love 143. I love all the ppl I've met because of it.
I love the friendships (yes. Friends. I've met AWESOME ppl)
I cry (yes cry - say you haven't cried cos of an online issue. Oh well. You aren't me) at the thought of losing it all. But when something hurts you more than it helps you, you have to know when to walk away.

But I'm also not willing to walk away so quickly (despite my lengthy absences) so here I am.

We either get it together or we close out doors.

I'm on my iPhone (as always) & my thoughts are always faster than my fingers. I'm gonna hit post now for fear I'm muddling my thoughts up.

I'll answer any questions y'all's I have pertaining to 143.
I may not answer them right away but I will eventually. We all will. So ask away.

Daisy-doodle, not sure how much you know about this guy, but he's really great.
He can often come off as a prick on HF nowadays, but he's a fantastic fellow that mirrors my integrity and emotional depth (albeit he loves anime and some maaaay say disconnected with certain aspects of the norms).
He recognized me as a young member here and gave me a chance at an early stage here.
There are very few people that I could say warrant my trust here and he is one of them.
I say this because he messaged me the other day about speaking out against some of the things about 143, leave that to the cynic side that we both have when it comes to this place.
He's a sweetheart and passionate and been through a lot here.

Anyways, I'll step off of my Xypher loving pedestal now. o.o
If you enjoy my words and my genuine niceness/caring it is certain that you will enjoy talking with him as well.

We invite you.
We actively recruit our members.

What that simply means is we see someone that catches our eye somehow. & we watch them. Cody is like a detective. He looks into their profile & sees what they're like. (make sure that whatever it was that caught our eye wasn't just an instance) He looks at all their threads/posts/feedback. (we don't interact w/them until we've really "studied" them awhile) A few ppl we watch/read for months. (our sub is full of personal things so blending well w/everyone is important)

& lastly if we know that one of our Senior Mems knows them better we will seek their insight as well.
