So... I don't wanna be that guy (well, actually I do. I love being a dick), but what's the main point to this group besides the shiny userbar?

We have a section dedicated to LoL where anyone is able to give their own advice, and make public brag threads. Your sub-forum, though it may be active due to the post requirements, offers little advantage. The only advantage I see is people want to help in this thread because they feel elite, or just group up with someone to Duo with.

I honestly don't see the main purpose of dedicating a group to this one game in general, what's your plan, Hexicidal?

There are multiple gaming groups here.

-Group vs Group.
-League sanctioned tournaments (with prizes from Riot)
-Getting people structured and organized into a group allows for serious players to meet one another. Also allows for better duo que, and it's better than searching for someone who knows their shit.
- People boost all the time, who knows maybe this group will offer boosting for free.
-May offer lessons in LoL- Learn from diamond players(this service cost a bunch on other forums)
-Discussion of one of the biggest esports in history(within the confines of a group, far better than the disorganized mess that is the LoL section)
-Access to members with a ton of accounts, prolly lots of free accounts.
-Tut's that members in the League section don't get

I mean it can be whatever we want it to be. Plenty of reason to have the group. If someone enjoys league why not join?

Well if you have a hobby like sky diving,wood shop, metal shop, biking, skating etc..., and you add the cost of those hobbies together+time spent they will far surpass the cost of playing league, buying skins and joining this group.

You buy in 1x, get access to a ton of shit, and people, you can spend hours playing league. Honestly it's cheaper than a lot of other hobbies considering the time and money you spend.

Also there is a recruitment thread comin up soon. Those who don't wanna apply, or don't feel like they will make it in can pay.

What is ultimately the whole point of any group that resides on HackForums? In retrospect, aren't we all fools just hanging behind a computer screen increasing our epenises based on how many friends we make online?

The group is what you make of it, and I accept what it is. Groups are viewed by their userbars, from the outside at least. With this group it will define a specific community on HF and will encourage more than just the LoL section will. I don't know how that statement holds up when compared to other groups also. Simply because you apply that idea to every single one. If you choose to apply it solely to my group, I don't see that as fair.

All but one group I can truly label to an appropriate sub section.

The only groups that focus on one core aspect are in fact, 143, MRT, and Illuminati. Even arguably then, they could be viewed as a a mixture of whatever they wish to be. It just comes to the point of view you wish to assess everything with. Groups at the end of the day aren't any more than a sense of community on a forum. I plan to offer a high quality standard than what the current LoL subsection has to offer. Alongside private guides, giveaway, tutoring, game nights, and such. It doesn't have to all clean-cut though, we can do as we wish.

I get your point, and I do agree it would be stupid to single you out on this issue as it is pretty much the same with the others. Thanks for taking the time to write that post, it's a surprisingly valid argument.

I won't lie it does seem like an interesting group if people are going to be posting tutorials. It seems like a fun group, and when you start accepting applicants, I may apply depending on the requirements.
