> UEFA Champions League: Best current option, a yearly league with the top clubs of every country in Europe. Also the most popular and frequent championship in Football.

>English Championship, English FA Cup,  Scottish Premiership: Meh Not that popular.

>Premier League: Good option.

Other leagues that could be added alongside Premier League and MLS are: Serie A (Italian League), La Liga (Spain), Ligue 1 (France), Bundesliga (German). These are the top leagues that come to mind right now.

It is indeed. However, it's only the English League. It by itself will be boring. UCL (Champions League) is a must-add imo.
