A brief note
I am a big fan of Debug and I believe this is an opportunity to join the group I've been admiring since its creation. Please consider this application, I will do my best to help the group twice as much as it will help me.
Name:
My name is
Nikolas. Friends call me Nick. The Greek short form of my name is Nikos. Other people call me by my nickname which is
Delirium or Del for short! - Feel free to call by whichever of those pleases you the most.
Age:
I am 21 years old. My birthday is on the 4th day of June. I've been on HackForums since I was 16, which means I am a member for 5 years! Quite a long time I presume 😝
What languages are you familiar with:
The language I am the most familiar with is
C#. It has been my main programming language for a few years already and I believe I am quite fluent in it. I am able to develop rapidly using it and I am also capable of writing any common application without much research. In addition to C#, I am also fluent in
Visual Basic since it's the language that has driven me to learn C#. However, I rarely use it as I find C# more elegant and beautiful. This is no issue however, as both compile to pretty much the same MSIL code but I'd rather use C# instead. I am very active in the .NET section and I've helped quite a few people. I have provided some snippets as well, including a Crypter example which is very popular (according to the views & downloads).
I am also fluent in
PHP, HTML and JavaScript. I'd rather not use any framework to develop a website but if it's necessary, I am using Laravel to ease my work. I am also a fan of Bootstrap when it comes to design, so if there's any Bootstrap fan club, count me in! As for JavaScript, my main library is jQuery although some Vanilla JS doesn't hurt every now and then. Unfortunately, I am not very good with
CSS and therefore I usually rely on ready-to-use templates but I can do some modifications myself and that's without even studying it for more than a few hours in total. I've written the website of my business myself (I can provide the link through PM) and I've also setup a couple of forums but that has nothing to do with it, except for the fact that I wrote some plugins myself.
Lately, I've been studying a lot of
C++ and I am currently able to write some code focused on Windows. My only C++ snippet (which I have posted on the C++ section) is a WinInet client wrapper which uses asynchronous requests, both POST and GET. I have a huge thirst to learn C++ well and I believe I am on the correct course to learn it rapidly. I can read a complex snippet and understand at a great extent what it does even though I am not quite fluent with it.
As for the rest, I am not familiar with any of those language but my guess is that I can understand code written in some of them, e.g Java or Python. I am also good with white hat issues, such as malware removal as I've been selling a crypter myself and I was in the RATing scene for quite a long time, therefore, I presume I have the ability to find out if there's a virus installed on a computer and how to remove it.
Your past work:
I have released a lot of snippets on the .NET section and these days, I am planning to release some in the C++ section too. My past works include a crypter project which I maintained by myself solely for 2 years and I have also written a stealer which is on testing phase. I have written a couple of websites as well, without counting my own one. Some of my contributions are listed below:
C# and Visual Basic contributions:
-
A crypter example in C#, my most popular one.
-
A progress bar control with percentage counter.
-
A CoreFTP stealer snippet which decrypts the encrypted password.
-
A simple tool using Mono.Cecil to add resources to a compiled assembly.
-
A class which upload to Pastebin using its API.
C++ contributions:
-
My largest C++ project: An editor for LUA files written to be used with an emulator for a game I was playing. It has some nice features such as code folding, automatic identation and code completion. It is written using the Qt framework.
-
A WinInet client wrapper using asynchronous requests.
How much time do you have on your hands:
I have around 4 to 6 hours free per day and it definitely includes browsing HackForums!
One final note:
Please consider my application, I will not disappoint you! I believe I can be a great asset for the group and play my part in it by helping it grow in quality! I am a friendly person who rarely has rage bursts but those go away in the blink of an eye. As you can tell, my English is highly advanced and thus, communication problems will not occur. I hope I did not bore you a single bit with my application and I also hope that it was pleasant to read. Thank you.
