If you can throw in a crew (cartel), I would be willing to purchase this above BIN price.

Quote:Is this the last Bot DNA Award or are there more to come in the next months? Xerotic and I have discussed options for replacing the monthly award with something more stable. The award used to go for BIN within 1-2 days. I can't say for sure if this willl be the last award or not but this definitely can't last forever. Each ticket costing $25 or $50 will have 40 or 20 tickets respectively.

I really like this raffling idea but I think that pricing is too steep and kinda confusing/complicated with the # of tickets. Keep it simple to something the majority can afford. $20 for a ticket and (optional) $10 for every additional ticket after that. 50 participants will net Xerotic at least $1000 & I'm sure more than 50 people will buy a ticket for a shot at the DNA Award / prizes. Do you really think 50 people are all gonna throw up 20$ for a shot at the award? I don’t. I think it’ll go badly and then slightly diminish the value of the award. That also being said, I think 1000$ is getting to be a bit steep for this award. It used to hit bin in 1-2 days because of the hype stage but now we have to add 3 awards for people to BIN it and it still isn’t getting bought. Personally, I think it’s worth it but alas that’s the situation we’re in. ![]() (Mar 4, 2019 11:32 PM)Biggy Wrote: I don’t think it’s the best idea. Yeah right, that's why I proposed only to have 20 tickets. Winning probability will be high too. In November/Dec, Xerotic had a patreon page where people were willing to contribute every month so I think they can do it here too.

Why doesn't get Xerotic a % of HF earnings or atleast a paycheck from Omniscient?
Is this award sale realy the only earnings he gets for all his work? (Mar 5, 2019 12:04 AM)LittleHorse Wrote: Why doesn't get Xerotic a % of HF earnings or atleast a paycheck from Omniscient? He is paid a salary, the site does not generate a million dollars and he has expenses like everyone else, this is a way to supplement income for Xerotic so he can live comfortably while helping HF grow and add awesome features

I don’t know much about the financials and no one does besides Omni and whoever he decides to tell, but I get the idea he does not just take all the money from memberships and awards etc, running a site this large and keeping it secure and safe require large amounts of money to begin with.

Actually HF real cost was Del taco advertisment with the taco award. In return omni uses the del taco servers to host HF. Omni lowkey owns the Taco frenchise in USA.
